VIRVLANDE ÄNG
A workshop-based installation at Sergels torg in Stockholm. Together with children, adults and passers-by, 993 hand-made pinwheels were created and planted in a raised bed on Plattan, forming a temporary flower meadow.
The project uses participation as a spatial method, where making and collective creation become part of how public space is shaped. Through a simple and shared action, the surface of the square was transformed for a limited time.
The installation explores how temporary structures and participatory processes can generate new uses and experiences of a public place.
