Three historical elements from Östermalmstorg are reinterpreted as stone-clad sculptural additions: artificial ruins placed on the square. The three elements are: a temporary market hall, the statue Mötet, and a 20th-century street crossing.
The additions create new patterns of movement and gathering on the square while reinforcing its historical layers. Rather than reconstruction, the proposal works through suggestion: fragments that invoke memory without claiming to restore it.
