NANOLOGICA / SYNTAGON HUVUDKONTOR
In an existing space in Södertälje, the entrance and meeting environment of Nanologica/Syntagon's headquarters have been given a new design. The entrance serves as a point of orientation for both visitors and employees, and is combined with a display area that introduces the company's business. The meeting rooms are placed adjacent to the entrance, where subtle geometric forms drawn from the company's logotype recur throughout the interior. Together, the spaces create a representative environment that reflects the company's innovative work.
The design is built on a contrast between the precise materiality of the laboratory and a more comfortable, welcoming environment. Earthy materials and tones meet glass and steel, while simple furniture in reclaimed pine is combined with bespoke steel fittings. The technical meets the tactile in a material palette that balances the laboratory's precision with a warmer, more everyday feel.
